I’m on the pursuit of peace
But I don’t know if it’s a he or a she
I have no idea what peace is
She’s never visited me
Never once touched my face and let me feel her soft touch
I hear people praise her
They say she’s just and fair
But why is she so selective
Never once coming to me
And only sends me her sisters
illusion and frustration
Those two blind me to the war that is my reality
make me unaware of what’s around me and when they’re done with their fake kisses
It’s too late to call back peace
And the dreams they gave me shattered into pieces.
