MORPHINE

If every child husema babake ni hero,
then mbona chances za mabuda kudefend daughters wao zimekuwa ni zero,
if wanyama hawajawai jua what the abuse of young one entails,
it shows vile humans wako worse than animals chenye wanalack ni long ears and tails.
Real men ni wenye wanajua kuimba lullaby to their daughters hadi wafall asleep,
si wenye wanasleep with them.

Mtoi atatoka handsome ndio, but atakuwa reminder ya pain,
Maria anacatwalk kwa a dark  tunnel ‘cause  saa hizi yeye ni firefly,
Maria alikuwa flower but walimtoa all her petals, na kumnyang’anya her pistil na sasa chenye anaface ni stigma,
anasmile but iyo smile si genuine,
ni a painful smile but shame yake iko hidden underneath kama magoti ya penguin.
Maria huoga na kila detergent but anafeel like none of them inawash away her stain.
Maria amejaribu kumeza kila painkiller, but sio kila pain killer hukill kila pain.
Anawish kama God, angekuwa amecreate mwanamke na panty zenye ziko na security code if that ingekuwa the only way to secure their virginity.
Maria hukuwa silent but her silence huspeak volumes more than radio million moja zenye zimeashwa at the same time na full volume.
nataka kumtoa out of the silence na nimfunze kuspeak!

So speak baby, speak!

‘Cause chenye iko behind your voice iko so powerful than the shout zenye ziliangusha wall ya Jericho,
Speak baby, speak!
Speak ‘cause your voice ndio mouth piece a million women wenye wanakufa ndani kwa ndani na pain.
Speak ‘cause your smile inaweza dissolve kila teardrop.
This is a fight, a battle, a war!
None of our daughter will, again, be called, a bitch or a whore.

uv nailed it like the calvary nails….

  4. teardrops really nailed it. That diction brought out the real feeling of a paged lady… you exposed the inner feelings of that character. that is commendable. keep it up
